Does the device support live audio monitoring?
Yes. Both versions support real-time listening via 4G VoLTE. You can call the device and listen live with low latency.
Can I receive alerts when sound is detected?
Yes. The device includes a voice-triggered standby mode. When sound is detected, it automatically sends a push notification and begins recording.
What’s the difference between the internal and external microphone versions?
The Z95G-INT has a built-in microphone for quick, clean deployment with no exposed wires. The Z95G-EXT includes a detachable MEMS microphone (1m cable) for discreet placement in targeted areas, offering more flexibility.
How is the audio stored and transferred?
Audio is stored in 8MB onboard memory and automatically uploaded to a remote server. The device also supports USB access as a mass storage device. The Z95G-EXT allows optional FTP upload to your own server.
How long can the battery last?
Up to 20 hours of continuous recording and uploading, or up to 7 days in voice detection standby mode, depending on usage.
Is this compatible with my country’s 4G network?
This model is built for strong 4G coverage in the EU and many global regions outside North America. It is not compatible with most U.S. carriers due to different LTE band requirements.
What operating systems are supported?
You can manage the device using the “Audio Monitor” app for Android and iOS. PC users can use the “Audio Widget” software for Windows and Mac.
Can I power the device externally for longer deployments?
Yes. The device can be powered continuously via USB, allowing indefinite operation if connected to a power source.
How far can the microphone pick up voices?
Both versions can clearly capture audio up to 8 meters from the microphone. The external mic version allows you to place the mic exactly where you need it.
